Accessibility Statement

Accessibility statement for the website www.mikora.de

Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the following website:

Legal basis

We strive to make our website http://www.mikora.de/ barrier-free. This is done on the basis of of Section 13 of the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Federal Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0). This declaration was created on June 20 , 2025 and last reviewed on July 14, 2025 . If you encounter any barriers when using our website, please let us know .

Status of compliance with the requirements

This website partially complies with legal accessibility requirements . The requirements of BITV 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 are partially met.

Non-accessible content

The following elements and functions do not currently fully comply with the guidelines:

  • Not all recorded videos contain subtitles (BITV test step 9.1.2.2).

  • Images and graphics without an informative function sometimes do not contain alternative text (BITV test step 9.1.1.1c).

  • Keyboard usability is not yet fully guaranteed in some form areas.

  • Contrasts of texts and controls do not always meet the minimum requirements.

This assessment is based on a self-assessment conducted by Behrendt Tischlerei from July 1, 2025, to July 10, 2025 . We will endeavour to correct the aforementioned deficiencies as part of the editorial revision of our content.

Barriers for reasons of economic reasonableness

Despite our efforts to make the website as accessible as possible, there are some barriers that cannot currently be completely eliminated for economic reasons. We regularly review technical and organizational options for improving accessibility, but due to the disproportionate effort involved, we cannot eliminate all barriers in the short term.

Older content

Certain content created before the current accessibility standards came into force may not fully meet today's requirements. Subsequently adapting this so-called "historical content" to be accessible would involve a disproportionate amount of effort. New content, however, is created in an accessible manner according to the applicable standards.

We strive to gradually reduce existing barriers within the scope of our possibilities .

Legal basis for accessibility in Berlin

The following legal bases for digital accessibility apply to the state of Berlin:

Berlin State Equal Rights Act (LGBG Bln)
The Berlin Act on Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities forms the central legal basis for accessibility. It obliges public bodies to ensure accessibility, including in the digital space.

Berlin Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV Bln)
The Berlin BITV specifies the requirements for accessible information technology at the state level and implements the provisions of EU Directive 2016/2102. It applies to websites and mobile applications of public bodies in Berlin.

Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0)
The nationwide BITV 2.0 is used in addition and is relevant for the barrier-free design of digital offerings – especially when federal law or common IT standards are affected.

EU Directive 2016/2102
This directive requires public bodies in all EU member states to make their websites and mobile applications accessible. In Berlin, it is implemented by the BITV Bln.

Note: This declaration is based on the current legal requirements and templates for accessibility declarations in Germany. It should be reviewed annually and updated if changes occur.
